2026–2027 Tuition & Class Rates

Legacy Performing Arts offers an all-inclusive recreational dance program designed to make the season clear, organized, and easier for families to budget.

Our 2026–2027 season runs from August 2026 through May 2027.

What Is Included in Tuition?

Recreational monthly tuition includes:

  • Weekly dance classes

  • High-quality instruction

  • Performance participation

  • One performance costume

  • One pair of tights

  • Two Spring Production tickets

  • One high-quality, full-size Spring Production program

Our all-inclusive model means families have fewer separate performance expenses throughout the season.

Performance Classes

Most recreational classes are performance classes and run August 2026–May 2027.

Performance classes participate in:

  • A small fall/winter performance

  • Our big Spring Production in May 2027

Families should plan for consistent attendance throughout the season, especially once choreography begins.

2-Year-Old Ballet & Tap

Our 2-Year-Old Ballet & Tap class is a non-performance class that runs August 2026–May 2027.

This class does not participate in the fall/winter performance or Spring Production. It is designed as a gentle first dance experience with monthly themes, music, movement, ballet, tap, and classroom routine.

Class Monthly Tuition

2-Year-Old Ballet & Tap = $50/month

Tiny Tot Tuition

Tiny Tot classes are for dancers ages 3–4 using our December 1 age cutoff.

Tiny Tot Classes Per Week = Monthly Tuition

1 class = $80/month

2 classes = $105/month

3 or more classes = $140/month

Tiny Tot tuition is based on the number of Tiny Tot classes your dancer takes each week.

Mini Tuition

Mini classes are for dancers ages 5–6 using our December 1 age cutoff.

Mini Classes Per Week = Monthly Tuition
1 class = $90/month
2 classes = $120/month
3 or more classes = $160/month

Mini tuition is based on the number of Mini classes your dancer takes each week.

Level 1–5 Tuition

Level 1–5 classes are for school-age dancers and are based on a combination of age, experience, safety, technical readiness, and staff placement.

Level placement is determined by Legacy Performing Arts staff. Dance levels are not the same as school grades, and it is normal for dancers to repeat levels as they continue building strength, coordination, technique, musicality, and confidence.

Level 1–5 Full-Hour Classes Per Week = Monthly Tuition
1 full-hour class = $100/month
2 full-hour classes = $155/month
3 full-hour classes = $195/month
4 full-hour classes = $225/month
5 full-hour classes = $250/month
Unlimited, 6+ full-hour classes = $300/month

Level 1–5 tuition is based on the number of full-hour classes your dancer takes each week.

30-Minute Ballet Electives

Some 30-minute ballet elective classes are billed separately at $25/month per elective.

This may include classes such as:

  • Progressing Ballet Technique

  • Pre-Pointe

  • Pointe

  • Other approved ballet electives

30-minute ballet electives are billed as add-ons unless the dancer is already enrolled in the Unlimited tuition tier based on their full-hour class enrollment.

For example, a dancer taking 5 full-hour classes plus one 30-minute ballet elective would be billed for 5 full-hour classes plus the $25 ballet elective add-on.

A dancer already enrolled in Unlimited based on 6 or more full-hour classes would have eligible 30-minute ballet electives included in the Unlimited tuition.

Sibling Discount

Families with multiple dancers enrolled under the same household account receive a 5% discount on eligible recreational monthly tuition.

The sibling discount applies to recreational tuition only. It does not apply to registration fees, private lessons, camps, intensives, summer classes, company fees, theatre fees, workshops, merchandise, tickets, special events, or other non-tuition charges.

Pay-in-Full Discount

Families who pay the full 2026–2027 season tuition upfront receive a 10% discount on eligible recreational season tuition.

Pay-in-full tuition is non-refundable for any reason.

The discount does not apply to registration fees, private lessons, camps, intensives, summer classes, company fees, theatre fees, workshops, merchandise, tickets, special events, 30-minute ballet elective add-ons, or other non-tuition charges.

Tuition Billing

Tuition is calculated for the full season and divided into monthly payments.

Tuition is not based on the number of classes in a specific month. Because the full season is divided into monthly installments, tuition is not prorated for missed classes, holidays, weather closures, scheduled studio breaks, or family schedule conflicts.

Auto-Pay

Auto-Pay is required for all Legacy Performing Arts families.

Monthly tuition is automatically drafted on the 1st of each month.

Families are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file in the Parent Portal.

Late fees are charged on the 16th of the month for unpaid accounts.

Accounts with unpaid balances may result in limited participation, paused enrollment, or removal from classes until the account is brought current.

Registration & Payment

Registration is completed through our online Parent Portal.

Any tuition or fees due at checkout must be paid to complete registration.

Additional Fees

Our recreational tuition is all-inclusive unless otherwise stated.

Additional fees will apply for:

  • Private lessons

  • Camps

  • Intensives

  • Dance Company programs

  • Theatre programs

  • Optional workshops

  • Merchandise

  • Extra tickets

  • add-on classes

  • Other non-recreational programs

Costume & Production Account Requirements

Dance tuition includes the performance costume, one pair of tights, 2 Spring Production tickets, and one high-quality full-size program.

All additional tickets and programs must be purchased separately.

Dancers will not receive their costumes until tuition is paid through March.

Dancers will not be allowed to participate in Spring Production until tuition is paid through May.

Refunds & Withdrawals

All fees are non-refundable unless Legacy Performing Arts cancels the class, event, or program.

Tuition is not prorated or refunded for missed classes, holidays, weather closures, scheduled studio breaks, illness, injury, family schedule conflicts, vacations, behavior-related removal, or voluntary withdrawal.

To drop a class and avoid being charged for the following month of tuition, families must notify the studio office in writing by the 15th of the current month.

Telling a teacher, missing class, or removing a dancer from attendance does not automatically withdraw the dancer or stop billing.

If written notice is not received by the 15th, the family is responsible for the tuition posted to the account for the following month, even if the dancer is no longer attending.

Performance dancers who withdraw from a performance class after January 31, 2027 will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

Dancers who begin a performance class after January 31, 2027 may not be eligible to participate in the Spring Production.

Pay-in-full season tuition is non-refundable for any reason.

Performance classes require planning, choreography, costumes, spacing, and long-term preparation. Dancers who withdraw from a performance class after costumes or performance planning has begun may still be responsible for costume, performance, or cancellation-related fees.
